Reuben’s Brews
Bloody Good Beer.
After the birth of their first child Reuben, owners Adam and Grace embarked on a mission to brew bloody good beer. Originally from the UK, Adam turned a passionate hobby into a family-run brewery crafting nationally and internationally recognized beers in a wide variety of styles. I created a systematic, cost effective solution with a minimalist aesthetic to the challenge of brewing a multitude of different beers every year.

BITS & BOBS
An IPA with new hops every year.
"Bits and Bobs" is a British phrase which means "bits and pieces," which highlights that this beer will be a different IPA every year. For this design, I broke from Reuben's typical 2-color design system to emphasize how special this release is. It’s a spring seasonal beer using a variety of hops, so aesthetically it made sense to use a variety of spring colors radiating from the iconic Reuben’s “r.”

The Sour Series
I helped define the look and feel of Reuben’s seasonal sour beers. For these fruit-forward beers I helped differentiate them from Reuben’s year round offerings by creating custom patterns on bright punchy colors.
DAILY PALE
The Official Beer of
Seattle Beer Week 2016
The name ‘Daily Pale’ provides a connection with the days of the daily newspaper. Like that newspaper, Daily Pale is one to kick back and enjoy every day. The name is also a pun on the word 'pail.' In the early 1900s the only way to bring beer home was by filling a galvanized pail at the local bar. Building off of the established system I created a can design that features short news clips about the beer as well as catchy taglines as stand-ins for advertisements.
